This was one of my first moments in Paris and I'll never forget it. After arriving in the city in the evening, we walked down the road from the hotel, past the Arc de Triomphe, down Champs-Élysées, past Le Grande Palais and Petit Palais, and over Pont Alexandre III. By this stage it was about 9:30pm and the sun was just beginning to set; casting a beautiful light on Les Invalides and the Tour Eiffel in the distance. Magical.
